Easy Vegetable Soup

2 (15-oz.) cans no-salt-added tomato sauce
4 cups low sodium vegetable broth
2 (16-oz.) pkgs. frozen mixed vegetables  (California blend)
2 (15-oz.) cans no-salt-added black beans
2 cups dry 100% whole grain shell pasta  (8-oz.)
1 tsp. dried basil or Italian seasoning
1 tsp. granulated garlic
1 tsp. granulated onion
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Dash hot sauce

Combine all ingredients except the shell pasta in a large
saucepot. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and add the shell pasta; stir well. Cover and
simmer for 30 minutes, stirring every 5-10 minutes to keep pasta
from sticking.

Remove from heat. Stir and serve.

Makes 6 servings.
