Sloppy Garden Joes

1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped fine
1 green pepper, chopped fine
8-oz. sliced mushrooms
1 (15-oz.) can no-salt-added tomato sauce
1 (15-oz) can no-salt-added pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 1/4 cups Basic BBQ Sauce (click here)
Black pepper to taste
6 Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Whole Grain Burger Buns

Saute onions, carrot, green pepper and mushrooms in a skillet
with 1/4 cup water over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.

Add tomato sauce, beans, barbecue sauce and black pepper. Bring
to a boil

Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve on toasted or plain buns.

Makes 6 servings.
